Cosmetics such as shampoo, perfume, skin care, make-up and hair dye are subject to Pharmaceutical and Pharmacy Department approval. As of 2026, applications are made online through TRNC e-government. An FSC, INCI/formulation analysis, product safety assessment, original packaging/label images, invoice and packing list are required.
Furniture, home textiles, curtains and upholstery goods are general commercial imports: Importer Certificate, commercial invoice with GTIP/HS code, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Release Order and Bill of Lading. CE may also be required for goods containing electrical components.
Because white goods and small appliances are electrical, Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) approval, CE certificate and invoice are required, in addition to the basic commercial documents. We complete the EMO approval and customs procedure for you.
They are general commercial imports and are cleared with an Importer Certificate, GTIP/HS-coded invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Release Order and Bill of Lading. A certificate of origin for EU/Türkiye-origin products may provide a duty advantage.
Processed/packaged foods, sauces, oils and beverages require Health Department Label Approval and Prior Approval before the goods reach port. Animal foods are subject to Veterinary Department approval; plant products to Agriculture Department approval.
Human medicines, vitamins and medical chemicals require Pharmaceutical and Pharmacy Department approval: Control Certificate and Import Permit Form, GMP certificate, a licence/Free Sale Certificate approved by the exporting country's Ministry of Health, invoice and Packing List.
Household chemicals such as detergent, soap, cleaning preparations and air freshener require Health Department label approval and prior permission. Industrial chemicals, solvents and adhesives require an MSDS for each product and a QR-coded e-invoice.
Computer and electronic goods require EMO approval and CE. Stationery and printing supplies are general commercial imports with the standard commercial file.
Automotive spare parts are general commercial imports with the standard commercial file. Because they are automotive spare parts, CE certification and EMO approval are not required, even for electrical/electronic parts.

Yes. Bulldozers, excavators, asphalt pavers and their parts are general commercial imports and do not require EMO approval. Only electrical site devices and industrial kitchen equipment require EMO approval and CE.
Motor-vehicle imports require Release Order, Bill of Lading, invoice, original logbook and Trade Department approval, and must meet the age limits. Customs duty, Price Stability Fund, wharf charge, GKK, withholding, bandrol and VAT apply; use the free calculator for an estimate.
